Some of this trip’s best photos came from a day spent at La Chureca, the enormous trash dump in Managua home to 1,600 people including both adults and children who collect recycling to make a living. The dump is hell on earth, but the children who live there (and go to school there) are absolutely beautiful. This is Walter, one of the Los Quinchos kids who lives here.
